This is the first style of trousers adopted by the US Army in 1941 before the US involvement in WWII as the first type of fatigue uniform made from cotton herringbone twill fabric dyed in the light shade "sage" of OD #5. Buttons used are the metal tack buttons with the US Army style 13-star "Burst of Glory" design.
