Wire-Cutters, M1938
This is a fair quality replica of the standard style of US GI tool designed to cut barbed wire and other small metal fittings during combat field conditions in WWII. It has a black enameled finish on the metal components with molded rubber grips. It was typically carried in the field (usually one per Squad) inside a canvas carrying case that was hung on a belt, such as this. It was used by Army soldiers and US Marines.
