The U.S. Army used cotton webbing and canvas materials to produce personal equipment so that soldiers could be as silent as possible. The color of the WWII era equipment was OD #3, a light olive color not pure Khaki as used in WWI. Our Army equipment is reproduced with quality and durability in mind. Webbing and Canvas used in our products is U.S. Mil-Spec cotton. Metal hardware is authentic but modern commercial manufacture and will hold up to the most rigorous field conditions. All of our products were exhaustively replicated down to the stitch. Listed are the items we currently offer: Our US Army Web Gear is priced very competitively. All components are assembled and sewn on our production floor. The webbing used in our gear is produced in the U.S. according to military specs, dyed to match the OD#3 color and UV-light fade resistant. Our 100% cotton Duck meets U.S. military specs (Not foreign specs), dyed to match the authentic colors and UV-light fade resistant. Our 100% cotton thread is matched for gauge and color. For high stress areas the thread has a nylon core. but wrapped by a cotton shell. All hardware is either commercially made to military spec, custom made to meet our specs, or surplus new/old stock. Our web gear will withstand rigorous field conditions and in some cases perform better than original web gear items, without sacrificing authenticity. All items annotated with "WWII Imp Made" are made in-house. Check this page frequently as more items are restocked and new items introduced. |
Haversack, M-1928
(WWII Imp Made in our location.)
Haversack , M1928 is a field pack into which the enlisted man's individual equipment is rolled and carried when on the march. It is provided with shoulder straps and has attaching tabs for the bayonet and entrenching tools. The carrier, pack (which is included) is used to increase its carrying capacity when necessary to carry a full pack load. The mess tin pouch (also included) holds the complete mess kit. Our version of this important piece of field equipment is replicated faithfully to the actual military specs and dimensions. We use our quality canvas and cotton webbing in the authentic shade of OD#3. We include the authentic "U.S." markings on both the haversack and the pack carrier. Our hardware meets the military specs for performance. We include a length of cotton webbing instead of the appropriate leather tab for attaching the pack carrier. roomy as an unissued original should be. Canvas always
