Command
the respect of your audience with this sharp item! You will be
proud to complete your uniform with this Old-World style fine tailored
garment. All U.S. Army officers wore this coat when they were
authorized to wear the winter class A dress uniform. Usually this
coat was worn with all the insignia affixed, over a shirt (Tan, Pink, or
Chocolate) that only had a shoulder patch affixed. No brass
insignia was ever affixed to a shirt that was worn under a coat.
Details include OD 100% Wool elastique fabric dyed in the
appropriate shades of dark OD #51, acetate lining throughout including
lower pocket lining, authentic genuine camelhair interlinings and cotton
padding, authentic cut and pattern, genuine US Army spec buttons, OD
cuff braiding, solid brass belt slide, and much more. Our patterns
are based on authentic military designs with high shoulders and proper
pocket placement.
