Nothing says Officer more than this item.  This item of headgear is the regulation U.S. Army officer's Service Cap meant to be worn with the officer's winter dress uniform.  Army regulations dictated that this headgear was only to be worn by officers stationed within the United States.  Troops stationed outside the U.S. were to wear the Garrison Cap, AKA "Overseas Cap". 

We offer two styles of this cap.  One is the standard model regulation officer's service cap and the other is the Army aviator's style "crusher" service cap.  Technically the regulation cap can be made a crusher by simply removing the grommet, but in lieu of this we also produce a cap specifically designed and produced as a crusher made with a softer frame and visor.  The regulation cap only comes in Dark OD shade #51 chocolate.  The aviator crusher caps are produced in the chocolate shade #51, Pinks shade of drab, and field shade of OD Wool Serge.

Details include Chrome Tanned leather visor and chinstraps in the appropriate shade of Army Russet, elastique fabric dyed in the appropriate shades, acetate lining, impermeable sweat proof top, genuine US Army mil-spec buttons, OD ventilation eyelets on front and sides, moisture proof frame band, authentic braiding around the headband, hand sewn genuine sheepskin headband, and braided grommet tubing.
