This is the standard issue fighting knife used by specialized U.S. Army troops during WWII.  Handle is leather.  The blade is stamped "US M3 1943" on the blade which is made from 440 stainless steel with a gray phosphate coating (parkerizing).  Knife comes with a fair quality replica of the leather M6 scabbard.  Leather scabbard should be coated with dubbing for proper darkened appearance.
