We would be happy to send out swatches (2"+/- square pieces of fabric) to anyone who wishes to inspect the quality of our materials. Please send us a self addressed and stamped envelope to the above address and we would be happy to supply a swatch of any fabric we use in our garments.
We are currently working on reproducing various women's uniforms for both the field and dress occasions. Please keep in close contact with us for any new additions to this page. Hat, Herringbone Twill, M1941 These are the fatigue more commonly known as "Daisy Mae". These were hats more widely used during the early stages of WWII, then they were replaced by the Cap, Herringbone Twill. Both men and women are known to have worn this hat in WWII. However, the patterns appear to depict a 4-5 inch reduction from the bust line
to the waist at the navel. Exchange may be needed in order to find the

Cotton, Women's (Shirt) We are now accepting reservations for a production run of the khaki cotton shirt commonly worn by Women Army personnel. This shirt was worn by both enlisted women and officers in their class A and class B uniforms. It was made from a light weight cotton poplin fabric in the standard army khaki #1 shade. The pattern was identical to the OD woolen waist with two breast pockets with puckered fabric on the top front and rear shoulders. You can wear this cotton waist with our quality dress jackets and skirts. Shrinkage of approximately 2" on the sleeve and body is to be expected on this garment. Size your shirt order accordingly. Leggings,
Canvas, Women's. (WWII Imp made) We are proud to introduce the canvas leggings worn by female Army personnel while serving in the field. The Army produced a special canvas legging for women such as nurses, mechanics, and clerks who worked in the field. The Army specification for these are dated 1942 and we follow them to the letter. These are shorter (11-1/4" tall) and have fewer hooks than the Leggings, Canvas, Dismounted, M1938 (For men). We make these in heavy duty cotton duck dyed in OD #3, with authentic eyelets, hooks, custom made laces, and webbing buckles and tips. |
